Government Affairs & Event Coordination

Challenge

Kuubix Energy partnered with Southern California Edison to develop a 3 MW-AC solar facility in Lancaster, CA, as part of SCE's Community Renewables Program. With only 11 days notice, the company needed to coordinate a high-profile groundbreaking ceremony that would engage elected officials at multiple levels, business partners, media, and community stakeholders to generate awareness and support for this clean energy project.

Our Approach

Our public relations and government affairs team executed a rapid-response strategy:

  • Government Affairs Outreach: Contacted federal, state, and local elected officials and their staff

  • Media Relations: Engaged local and regional media outlets to secure coverage

  • Stakeholder Coordination: Reached out to business partners and community leaders

  • Materials Development: Drafted talking points, media advisory, and press release

  • Event Management: Coordinated logistics and provided daily progress updates to client

Result

  • Secured attendance and public recognition from offices of U.S. Representative Mike Garcia, CA Assembly Member Tom Lackey, and LA County Supervisor Kathryn Barger

  • Achieved participation from Southern California Edison leadership and international investor, Solegreen.

  • Generated media coverage in Antelope Valley Times Business Section

  • Successfully coordinated multi-stakeholder event within compressed 11-day timeline

  • Built momentum and community support for ongoing clean energy project
