Wonder Wood Ranch Secures $150,000 Youth Community Access Grant

CPRA Strategies congratulates Wonder Wood Ranch on securing a $150,000 grant through the California Natural Resources Agency’s Youth Community Access Grant Program to expand its TAILS Aftercare Program.

The funding will support therapeutic, nature-based experiences for approximately 250 youth from Greenfield, King City, Salinas, and Soledad. Through field trips, hands-on interaction with rescued animals, and time spent on a working ranch, the program will provide opportunities for outdoor learning, mentorship, and healing.

CPRA Strategies led the grant writing process, including pre-submission meetings, program scope development, application drafting, interview preparation, and post-award submissions. We are happy to support Wonder Wood Ranch’s efforts to expand access to meaningful outdoor experiences for youth in the Salinas Valley.
