CPRA Strategies Assists Client in Securing $3.2 Million in State Government Contracts
The California Department of General Services recently signed two contracts totaling $3.2 million with CPRA Strategies’ client, Scorpion Cleaning Service Inc. (“Scorpion”).
Scorpion is a family-owned and operated small business that specializes in exterior building maintenance. With over two decades of experience, the company serves the greater Sacramento and Bay Area.
Every three to five years, the State of California releases Requests for Proposals and Requests for Qualifications (RFPs/RFQs) for window cleaning and power washing services at state-owned buildings. These state-level RFP/RFQs are highly competitive. To improve its chances, Scorpion turned to CPRA for help navigating the state’s complex procurement process.
Ashley Martinez of CPRA Strategies led the bid development process for Scorpion Cleaning Service—from the pre-bid review to bid preparation to the final submission.
Three contracts were awarded, valued at $1.9 million, $860,000, and $360,000. They will begin in May, June, and July 2025, respectively. Each is expected to run through 2028, with the option for two additional one-year extensions.
